Annual Appreciation Luncheon (April): Our Annual Appreciation Luncheon is a special event in April that honors the valuable contributions of the Jamaica American Association of Central Florida (JAAOCF) members and local leaders within our community. It celebrates their achievements, strengthens community connections, and raises funds for educational scholarships. 

By recognizing their efforts, the luncheon boosts morale, team building, encourages ongoing dedication, and inspires others to support the community, while also providing vital financial resources for students’ education.

Annual Independence & Scholarship Banquet: Our Annual Independence & Scholarship Banquet serves as a vibrant celebration of Jamaican culture, fostering a deeper appreciation and awareness of its rich heritage. By hosting this event, we not only honor the traditions and achievements of the Jamaican community but award several scholarships to deserving students, Debutante Ball, recognizing individuals as community leaders who are making a difference, to our Legacy Award that’s presented to a member of the organization. This event helps raise crucial funds for our charities and scholarships. This dual purpose ensures that we support both cultural enrichment and the educational advancement of deserving individuals, creating a lasting impact that extends beyond the banquet itself.

Pre-New Years Gala (December): Our Annual Pre-New Year’s Gala is a significant celebration of our yearly achievements, bringing together members and their families for an evening of recognition, rebuilding a sense unity, to team building. It honors the dedication and hard work of our community throughout the year, while fostering stronger bonds among our special guests. This event also serves as a moment to reflect on our shared successes, inspire future goals, and strengthen our sense of belonging as we prepare to embrace the new year with renewed energy and purpose.
